Default Our diaversary

‎6 years ago, our son, Erik was diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes. Our lives were turned upside down. We were with a newborn baby and diabetes to figure out.
Today we have hope for Erik's future. He will be OK. He is strong, brave, and resiliant. We all have hurdles in our daily lives I tell Erik. Some you can see like a sugar check, insulin syringe and pump. Others have hardships that may not be so obvious. With love, support and proper management my son can one day achieve anything. He just may have to stop along the way to check his sugar, eat a glucose tab or pump his insulin. Erik I hope I am as brave as you because you are my real life super hero.
