we use a soft sided insulated lunchbox as well. it holds everything she needs plus room for sharps container and juicebox, but still not too big. a slightly smaller option would be the insulated lunch bags that are shaped like paperbags with the fold over tops. or a cosmetics bag... u can get those in any size or color.
