Canada Get Ready! Hey kids, Are you 8 -12 years of age? Do you live with Type 1 Diabetes? Do you play Soccer? If yes, We would like to invite you to represent Canada for the first time at the International Junior Cup Diabetes! August 22 - 27, 2012 - Lausanne, Switzerland The Junior Cup Diabetes, established in 2007 is an annual soccer championship for young boys and girls with Type 1 diabetes. It is a unique opportunity to share experience with friends while having fun playing soccer! You will also get the chance to meet the soccer World Champion (1998) Christian Karembeu and other sports legends like Bas vander Goor (Olympic gold medal Dutch volleyball team 1996). The Junior Cup is hosted by me, Lenny? the Lion. I am the official Medtronic ambassador for children with diabetes.
