Help continue funding critical T1D research at the NIH by sending an email to your Members of Congress! Get your family and friends to join you by forwarding this email or posting it on your favorite social media sites.

As a first step in this process, the leaders of the Diabetes Caucus in the House and Senate are asking Members of Congress to sign-on to letters to leadership acknowledging the important contributions of the Special Diabetes Program (SDP). Please ask your legislators to add his or her name to this effort. You can read the letters and more about the benefits the SDP has provided here.

The SDP has been critical in advancing cure, treat and prevention research for T1D; including the testing of technologies like the continuous glucose monitor and now, artificial pancreas systems. Please ask your legislators to sign-on to the House or Senate letter and ensure that the SDP continues to advance research that will make living with diabetes easier and get us to a cure!
