Funny you mention that because on a bad hair day, Justin does look like Shaggy.

Scott, I think it's DREAMY that you are doing this for your wife.

Good for you for remembering the little things after all these years.

It's not an outright goatee because it starts at the mustache then comes down around the mouth and under the chin. Sharon's gotten hooked on the TV show Greys Anatomy and many of the male characters on the show have that look, that combined with the way Justin has his is why she suggested it. I'm still getting used to having hair on my upper lip but Sharon likes it so I'm just going to have to deal with it. What I need right now is a hair cut and that's what Sharon is really waiting on now because a fresh hair cut combined with the new shave will seal the deal with her.

My facial hair expedition throughout the years has ended about 6 months ago. Teen, grew a fuzzy mustach, ended when it couldn't get any fuzzier. Babyface until I got married in my mid 20s where I was finally able to grow a fairly nice trimmed beard. Gained weight and made the beard not so good again, so I shaved off the side and sported the goatee in my early 30s for a few years, took off the weight, but here comes the grey... only in the goatee!! So I started plucking them. 3 or 4 every time I trimmed.. Ok, I could deal with it. 5-10, yeah, if I must... 20-30 ok, I'm annoyed now. 30+, it was actually making a bald spot in my goatee!!! F*** it! BUUUZZZ! So now I'm in my late 30s (oh good god how did that happen!?!) Baby faced again, which is ok now that I don't mind looking like I'm in my 20s, ok, early 30s. I had a bit of resistance from DW and even Emma. "Oh, I liked it better with the hair", but the complaining stopped and I don't have to deal with keeping that hair nicely trimmed and plucking those grey hair anymore!! I don't think I'll ever go back! It's too annoying! Now, what to do with that bald spot!?!?!?

My dh and I have been together for 21 and I've only seen him ONCE without facial hair. I've never laughed so hard in my life.

Some people SHOULD have facial hair.

I can imagine that you will look amazing. Your wife seems to have good taste in TV shows.

Well a pic is going to have to wait another day or 2 not only to let it grow just it bit more but yesterday I was hoping to get a pic of me and Justin showing off our facial hairs to show you all (It was Justin's 19th Bday) and I had a mishap that had me in the ER for about 3 hours. I had forgotten to take my seizure meds that morning and felt a seizure possibly coming so as I was on my way to the kitchen that's when it hit me and as I fell to the floor my head hit the corner of a box leaving a nasty gash on the back of my scalp taking 6 staples in the ER to close up. From a seizure point of view it was a mild one for me and though not at 100% I was still back on my feet within 20 mins, problem is that a cut scalp can bleed like crazy so Sharon freaked when she saw me seizing with my head laying in a pool of blood. Don't worry about me, it was the first seizure in about a year and I'm feeling fine now though my hair has an odd shade of red where the gash is. To make it worse, I had gotten a fresh haircut earlier that day only to end up with some red "highlights" now.

Yikes! Sorry about the seizure but glad it was minor and you know why you had it.

I'll wait patiently for the pics.....

Sorry about the nasty gash. I hope that heals soon.

But I will be waiting for pictures! I think a beard or goatee can look really nice, but DH doesn't grow enough facial hair to look right.
