That is, unfortunately, the curse of starting preschool. Little munchkins are biohazard breeders. first year is usually the worst, for the kids, and for any new teachers.

I was "lucky" that my kids were mostly at home with me. But now that my oldest has started school I wonder how lucky I was. Let me tell ya she killed her sisters honeymoon instantly. One day we at 5u/day the next 10u.

I wondering about this. I have talked to our ped about it and he says that they eventually shrink and aren't a problem. He is also has speech issues so that is why I was also wondering about adenoids. Is it a day surgery? perhaps I will explore this some more.

As I remember it, it was in one day and out the next.

My non-d daughter (9 yrs old) just had her tonsils and adenoids removed. She has been sick (with colds) more than well for the last 6 months, and she even had trouble breathing at night so we finally gave in and had the surgery done. It was outpatient for her, and it took her about a week to recover, but I think that is different for everyone. Everyone I spoke to whose kids have had this done RAVE that their kids don't get sick anymore. She was suffering so much for the last 6 months- we are hoping that this works well for her.

For my boys, it wasn't too much longer than the 5 minute tubes in the ears procedure. Now this doesn't include the before and after care. I might guess you'll be in the outpatient care facility total of less than half a day if there are no extra situations that need attention.

My Loren is the same way! From Oct-DEc we had a sinus infection a month. I was getting so tired of it.
