i have the minimed pump it is really cool i <3 it. i had it for two months and my AIC went down ONE POINT after a month of having it.i used to be 8.9 but now i am 7.8!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!
your daughters gonna love the pump you can eat when youd like and have snacks without having to get a shot. and getting it in doesnt hurt. it stings when it goes in, but then it goes away after a second. i use special sticky stuff to put over it to make it stick on better, and swimming or bathing is super-easy. you simply disconnect your pump, put on the cap the way you put the pump on after you've disconnected it, and go! you should keep it on for two to three days a week, then change it. if you want, you could rub your site with rubbing alchohol after you take it off. keeping the pump in for too long cam make it infected, and it can bleed and have these bumps around the pump, but it goes away within a week. best of luck with your pump!

My name is Elizabeth,I'm 11 ,almost 12,I'm on the Animas Ping,(which is great and green)I JUST started today,I've gone to camp though and have seen a TON of pumps, and I wasn't as nervous when i started because the trainer from their company started my pump with salt water so that i could play with it at first, and was a really great idea!

I've have the Minimed now and I think it is really great. It is really simple to bolus with it. I have a sensor too.
![]() Before that I had the Cosmo, I liked it a lot too. Too bad they aren't making them any more it is a good pump. ![]() You're right it is a hard decision about which pump to use. Your daugher might be able to test a few out if you call some reps in your area.![]() I hope she finds a pump she likes .
