No, Jonah, I'm fine:cwds: Just all of the FB to CWD "posse" stuff and the way site moderation is done here had me blue.
Sweet of you to ask though ;)
      All the best,

PS I've changed it to a happier picture of my little dog keeping cozy :p

THanks for the articles. Nothing I'm seeing changes my thoughts. >2 IU/kg/day is an enormous amount of insulin, far above anything you'd normally see in children/teens with Type 1s.

Love your Newsletter. We will be subscribing. My husband is reading it now. It really captures his attention because of the artistic format. I am glad because this will be a chance for us to fine tune our knowledge. I read the restaurant caper part. I will venture to guess you went low because the 2 servings of pineapple juice should have been 30 carbs. The next section of I am going to read is formulas and calculations!! Thanks again!!

I had thought of that, did kind of want to make sure!
We had a package from Amazon with probably near 1/2 of Chrsitmas presents in it get lost or delayed this year -- I'm betting on lost. They tracked it in Denver 10 days ago. . . so, I did kind of want to check in!
Hope you and your family and staying warm and having a great winter.

Sorry, I try to give credit to sources without ascribing error to them when I remember or understand incorrectly! Difficult to do!

Yes, I printed a booklet through Lulu and put it on Amazon, had some folks here look at it, that was a long time ago! About 10 people a month buy it.

What's funny about the posts that strike me from you is that they are things I haven't thought of, haven't run across, enough to even think of. Like aerobic vs. anaerobic exercise? Never in a million years. What I often think about diabetes (and life in general) is that it's the stuff that you don't know you don't know that'll get you.
      Off to Saxon. . . . .

Just read your info on exercise. Boy, I wish you'd write a book! Guess you're probably too busy!
Hope you're summer went great and you're enjoying your fall.
I just re-read your post on lightening and I had misread it before -- I didn't realize you meant the lightening traveled between clouds -- in AZ we had a lot of what we called "cloud lightening" meaning it kind of lit up clouds from behind, so I didn't understand; that must have been beautiful.
Family reunion went well, everyone back home now. They all came out here. Doesn't look like we'll have the money to travel any time soon, so it was nice to have the visit.
      Have a great day.

Really interesting... Do you know if macrovascular complications are also avoided in the 20% of people?

We're doing pretty well, starting up thinking about school again and having a family visit in August. Todd's getting some commissions for his job at home, so that's hopeful, especially since his "day job" isn't necessarily very secure -- dinosaur casting is not a depression-proof business!
My sister sent me pictures of flooded streets, sounds like you guys are getting some weather. We had big lightening and thunder last night, we're still not up to par on our water for the year but at least they're not panicking about wildfires like they'd been. Starting to cool off a bit already. Seeing a lot of baby deer with spots, we've got a tree with birds in it.
Wanted to send you this link so you could see the kid you were helping out.
      Have a great day.

      Hi Jonah :)

That was so nice of you to think of that (re: dex)! Dex called me today and they are sending a new receiver just not a new transmitter - they told me that I have to see if the problem continues once I receive it so that is what I will do.

Thanks again for that offer, that was so nice of you and was a perfect thought!

K's been using the One Touch that goes with her pump. I fished out the Nano from my purse yesterday only to find it "fried". I wonder if it overheated!

Thanks Jonah! I always felt like the doctor just said that to make parents feel better because really, running high as a toddler is safer as far as going low. I will have to see what the study that was just mentioned on the thread is about. Thanks.
