How is Sophie feeling these days? All figured out?
Wanted to tell you I thought of you again yesterday, my husband was in the room during a conversation at work, this young man said, "I'm 24, and I don't see every being able to afford health insurance" and a woman near him said, "Hey, I'm 51 and I don't have it." Of course, my reaction was that he should have told them all we know. . . .but he doesn't like to give advise unless asked. But he said it really struck him again how lucky we are to have insurance. Again, thanks, and you do really good for your clients.

Hey, my fingers are itching to chime in over there but I am the lightening bringer and you don't want me looking in any way like I'm on your side on anything! But it's killin' me.

Have a fabulous day, enjoy the couple minutes without storm clouds!

(Oh, and my husband now has gainful employment so the screws aren't so tight, we're looking at traveling again so if you ever feel like meeting at a playground or something with the kids, let me know, I'd love to wander your way and say hi.)

well my friend had a horrible experience where her 15 year old boy was supposed to wrestle a good looking girl. Poor kid turned to mush when he realized he may have to touch her breast, it gives the girls unfair advantages. I know how hard these boys hit and I'm not going to put my girl in that arena. I also don't want a boy in girl scouts, girls have different dynamics and deserve to have a girl only club if you will. I know that Sam would never want to go to a cub scout camp out with a girl, he's just not there with girls--he prefers to admire from afar

      Oh, missed the note below!
I read a blog post recently about boys fighting and I decided the trick with my girls arguing is that our new rule is they can fight all they want, no hitting above the neck and no words at all. They were shocked. It at least bought me a few days of peace.
I have much more patience for boys tumbling around than girls cat fighting, makes me insane.
Stopped over, btw, to wonder at you. We don't do team sports so I have no real opinion on the topic, but I am a bit amazed at you stepping into that ring -- good luck, keep dodging and keep your hands up! Courage!

she's fine now. I just told her to go up to the girl and say if I did something to make you mad, I'm sorry. Natalie did that and all is good. I'm just not used to this, Sam doesn't have the issues. In first grade his good friend called him a piece of cwap (he has speech issues) Sam tackled him and they went to the principals office. I get a call from the principal who happened to be dressed up like the rocker Kiss that day for Halloween, I'll never forget it!! They were friends again by the time they were in the office and to this day, still friends.

Hope all's working out well with Natalie and school. Missed most of your thread, but wanted to sympathize, I hate the little girl stuff at school.

For what it's worth, I'd send my kid to your party! And I'm absolutely bonkers about this stuff!
