I read your post about mixing up Lantus and Humalog. Can I suggest that you do something to make them really different? For example, since you're only using 8 units of Lantus per day, how about getting the Lantus as penfils for the Opticlick? If you want to, you can continue to take the Lantus from the penfil by syringe, but it is a totally different shape and size and you will not confuse the penfil with a vial of Humalog. Or you could switch to a Humalog (or novolog) insulin pen. As far as I know, there is no Humalog pen that doses in half units, and there is a Novopen Jr which does, but you could still draw the insulin out via syringe- and have really different shaped insulin containers.
