Oh, welcome to the world of public schooling! Sorry you got ambushed, I have no words of wisdom for your thread and I've never been able to cyberhug without getting sick all over the place, but wanted you to know you have my biggest sympathy. I'm sure you'll sort it out.

Oh, yeah, and you'll always have that special place in my heart for the baby oil trick. I have referenced it many times. It's not perfect, but she is all for it, happy to do it, and the other day she softened up the contact detach site and then sat and wound up taking the "sticker" out herself, no scratching, etc. We were all very happy she could do it without us and not get hurt!

Wanted to belatedly thank you for reminding me about IV covering. We used to try to use it and she HATED it, would rather be poked a million times than pull that stuff off. But after your post I gave it another run, and, well, life changes, doesn't it? So that should help both with the training thing and also with just not worrying quite so much about it getting yanked cause that piggy tail is hanging about.
Good luck next year on school, btw. I'm sure you'll do it like a pro.

      Hi Joy,
today I found a water carrier for babies at Ocean Job Lot. It looks good, light and has won awards. I think, this will work for taking Ava and Calob swimming (for babies 8-38 lb). So do not buy any fabric -try this out first-it's our present to you and Calob!
We had a great time yesterday - let's get together soon. Next week we have time all day Thursday (I know-it's your busy day) - no school. Big brother will be in tow, though. But be could meet you at Watertown, if you had time. Other than that I would prefer to see you in our neck of the woods in the afternoons because school ends so late and everybody is tired. In 2 weeks we are done with school and available for all kinds of fun. Sophia would love to go to the Children's museum with a friend (her brother has outgrown that). We are members until end of July and the membership admits 6.
Hang in there - things will get easier soon. Hope, you're (Calob's) sleep pattern is still improving.
