Not sure if this helps but we got our thermopedic knock off mattresses off QVC on EZ pay- called Pedic Solutions. I am the one who said it is my number one possession!! LOVE IT! Got them for my kids too, only thing I would change is I would get them kings like ours so they can use them all their lives (plus they get so big so fast)

Nope, in fact she had very little actual asthma, just slight wheezing when she would get sick, but no biggy. She was dx with D at age 4. About a yr later we were at a very dusty cat inhabited friends house and the next day she was really wheezy. That night she was admitted to the picu for asthma and spent a week there. They just couldn't send her home and the prednisone sent her basal way high. Basically, i don't see a relation in dd bet. her D and her asthma. Just my experience though. It seems D make asthmas harder to manage or at least the asthma meds make d more difficult.

Did your child's asthma improve when dx with D? A diabetic educator told me that happens sometimes (it happened to her) and it seems to be happening with my son, but I am not sure if it has been long enough since his dx to tell.
