Hello, thank you for your great insight and high hopes for us. i am feeling a lil better with the routine during the day, however they keep playing with the doeses he is getting. As his sugar is not totally stable yet. he is so young i dont think they know really what doeses he needs that will work for him. you said your daughter is now 4, when did she start using the pump and how did and is that working for her?

Thanks, I hadn't realized we were in similar boats. I think there are several on here that have parallel timelines, it's kind of odd.
So you jumped on the CGMS and the pump relatively quickly? I think our endo would back us up on the pump even at her age, but he seems reluctant to go with the cgms, which is what I'd really like to try since I'm poking her a zillion times a day because she's so sensitive to carbs and insulin. Nice to know it is working out for you, my real fear is the site changes being hard and infections. I guess I won't be able to get over those until I do it for awhile, though. Thanks for the advice.
