We were doing pretty well with injections. Had her A1C down to 7.9 and getting comfortable with the shots. She's doing amazingly well. Yesterday we starting pumping on an Animas Ping - still so new but we're excited about the improvement it will bring to her life.

Kentucky was one of our top three choices. Todd's family is from there. In the end, though, there's no family living there anymore and we don't know the area so wouldn't know where to start. If it weren't winter, though, I'd sure be inclined to a road trip while we were between houses just to see. I will always wonder what we missed, I spent a lot of time on realtor.com looking at big green acres with tons of outbuildings. Do you just love it there?

Hi, sorry, I've been on vacation and away from CWD! Sparky escaped from his cage back in August and hasn't returned. So, I changed my picture to a plant I have growing in my flower bed. I have no idea what it is, but it's beautiful and TALL.

It's our hamster named Sparky. We aren't rat people - they're too big for us. Cute, though.
