It's beautiful out here in Pensacola today...have the screen room windows open and the sun and breeze is coming through, lovely. Finally feeling better. My ovarian cysts ruptured Monday and I have been down for the count since :/

Sophie turned eight in October. She started doing her shots in the hospital after one of the night nurses, a really sweet guy named Joseph, encouraged her to do it. I've done one or two since but she has done the rest of them. She started in her legs, then moved on to her arms, and finally her stomach earlier this week. Now, she can alternate her spots much easier than she was before. She always checks her own sugar, too.

So sorry to hear about your daughter's diagnosis but you have come to the right place. Just reading what others have or are experiencing has made me feel less alone. So welcome but sorry you have to be here.
