Hi there. My name is Christina although it is BeerMargaritaMom on the forums. You may remember the silly little thread I wrote a couple years back as to why I have the user name I do. Sorry I digress -
The reason for my message is at the time you had 2 kids with T1 but 3 kids total. This may be too personal of a question and if so please please forgive me for asking. Have you had your thrid child tested for the markers through Trial Net or another study? Our middle kiddos (not T1) agreed to be tested in October. I received the results today and he is positive for all the markers. I know that isn't a guarantee that he will develope T1 but now I will have the option to enroll him in studies if he is ok with it. Do you have experience with this? Again - if too personal please forgive me. You may even have posts about this topic that I just haven't found yet. Take care. Christina

Hi there--I noticed you live near Nashville and your child is at a diabetes camp nearby. Can you tell me which one? We are getting ready to relocate near Nashville (to Kentucky). My daughter has attended a diabetes camp here in South Carolina for the past two years and loves it so I am wanting to find one nearby. Thanks!
