I'm new to this site. My dad and my grandma were both diagnosed recently with type 2 diabetes. They are both in denial and I'm not sure what to do. They keep drinking cokes and eating sweets and I feel totally helpless. I'm trying to do a school project on diabetes to help understand where they're coming from and help out however I can, but the more I learn about it, the more scared I am for my family. One monday i came to school but my LA teacher wasn't there insead there was a sub so on tue. i came back from school and she was there except she had a big cast on her leg and she told us what had happend over the weeken she and her friend went to their other friends cabin they where going to go water skiing since she is such a dare devil she thought that that was to easy for her so she looked up some water skiing tricks and found one called the flying franko and you get in a jet and put on a perachute and jump out then land on the water skis and go skiing so she rent a jet (her friend is a piolt) and when she was jumping out she thought that she could do better so she started to do flips and landed on her foot she also told us that she had to get sugery on it so a week later our sub said that she would come back the next week well that week turned into weeks and that turned into a month anyways during the weeks wait my science teacher had a baby named finn and she wasn't going to be back until january so we had two teachers gone and then my math teacher triped over some kid and badly sprained her foot so she was going to be out for a couple of days so we had three teachers out and the only teacher we had left was my social studies teacher and she was afraid that something would happen to her but before we knew it my math teacher came back and then this mon.
