We only got 8 days out of our last sensor.. I started one yesterday.. took it out of the fridge 1/2hr before insertion, let the sensor get 'wet'.. it blinked when I put it on.. but it kept giving me weak signal (and I couldn't fgure out how to get rid of that!) and finally lost sensor, I got this a few times and then just said forget it.. left it alone, cleared the lost sensor alarm and left it for about 2 hours (we were out shopping and I was tired of those alarms!) but I never pulled the sensor.. so one last shot and i started a new sensor.. and it work, and its been dead on since then, with a great isig in the 40s! what the heck happened??? I was going to come home and recharge, reconnect and all that before actually pulling the sensor.. but I didn't have to do that..
did I not let it get wet enough? leave enough time between taking the transmitter off the charger and connecting to the sensor, did I not keep it out of the fridge enough... was it just a crabby sensor?? but its working excellent now.. so what gives?:cool:
