Just received word from Medtronic that our CGM system is ready to ship. Surprising since our insurance carrier is changing hands come 1/1/08 and figured the current, and soon to be former carrier, was not going to go for it.
I have been reading all of the threads to attempt to familiarize myself with this system. I just emailed my CDE for a prescription for Emla cream - and I already have tegaderm on hand. My son is not pleased with the idea - but honestly, I had to make this my decision. I need help - I can't seem to get things right.
Now - to hope that things will go smoothly from all of the assistance those of you have posted - without even knowing that you were educating me!:)
