Stupid pump question for MM552

The one thing I like about syringes, is if I decide to give an amount other than the one I calculated with the current carb ratio, I can. Can you easily do that with the MM552 pump? For example, if the pump wizard calculates her bolus to be 2.75, can I easily override that amount?

yes you can !

We have the 522. On this model, yes...once you enter her carbs, the next screen will show you the amount of insulin it wants to give, broken down between correction (if needed) and carbs. Once you push ACT, the next screen will blink the amount of insulin it wants to give. Right here, you can arrow up or down the amount of insulin you want. Hope this helps.

yes, you can change any amount to your liking.. it also keeps track of what is active in her system, using her specifications, and you can take that into consideration on whether or not to override:)

Yes you can. I do it alot. Just push up or down and it is overrided!

Yes you can over- ride it with the animas pump.. the amount it says to give is only a recommended amount.
