Hooked on Dexcom

Well, we are finally hooked up. It was the scary start of OH My God soemthing new. She tried to run, saying she changed her mind and did not want it. I pushed her for it though because once she can get past the fear she is fine. Had her take a breath and we inserted. She did not feel it at all>:D.
So, now we are waiting to calibrate and get going.
THanks everyone for the answers to my so many questions.
Oh, I am wearing one as well to feel it.

now the 2 of us are fighting to see who gets to look at the screen first. It is about 20 points below her blood sugar readings. we are going to wear out the battery before tonight I bet.;)

It is addictive! I still ask to see the screen several times a day. In the begining we ended up looking at it constantly but after a couple of months we have gotten a *little* better about not staring at it :o I am so glad the insertion went well! Keep up the good work mom.

glad you are all hooked up.. I drive Kaylee bonkers by looking at it.. its so nice to just take a peek though and not have to poke hre finger.. the first few days she asked why everyone kept looking at here.. it was pretty funny.. I do try to limit it.. but sometimes I just can't help it LOL..
