OOOOOHH! Oooh ooh! I just talked to my rep about possibly trying a few insets since we seem to be having troubles with the Cleos lately.... after 6 mths of no problems of course. Anyway, I asked him if he had any inside info on the release of this update allowing the cozmonitor to download to Copilot. He started laughing and said he sure did.. that he just had received a few disks in the mail yesterday! OOOOOH! He's sending me one UPS and I should have it on Monday. He said it's NOT online yet for download, but it IS now available. Call Smiths or check in with your rep to see if you can get it as well. Crossing my fingers here... typing all this in manually to Copilot has been a pain in the butt!
*doing the happy dance!!!*:D

That's great news! I only just discovered co-pilot like 3 days ago. I really like it, but would love to download right from the pump.

Oh yay! I am so calling them later!
ETA: We have recently been having issues with the Cleos too! Just in the last 6 weeks or so! We get blockage detected alarms roughly every 36 hours and have to change out the tubing! We also are trying the insets.

ok, I just called and the recorded message says this:
all 1800 pump users will be notified by mail when the new co-pilot extensions aer ready for download on the deltec cozmo website - within the next few weeks.
I think we'll probably see it before we get notified.

We quit using cleos too. We were never able to use them for more than a day without a blockage.

ROCK!!! I am so excited for this!!! Hey, do you guys get sent little goodies from Cozmo from time to time? They sent Sam a coloring kit for Halloween and we got a Cozmore hat this summer. I think it is kinda cool. But honestly I'd rather have them focus their energy on stuff like this software update than on sending out perks to their customers.

I heard about the halloween goody but I had to email them and ask why we hadn't gotten one. I think because we got our pump through a DME and not through cozmo directly that they didnt' have Ian on their mailing list. Ian thought it was way cool though when he did get the coloring kit. He thinks "senor pumparamo" loves him.
I heard that reps do have the CD's - unfortunately for me I have the worlds suckiest rep so I won't even bother to call him.

My rep is sending me everything on Monday. We will be up and running by Thursday. I have one of those good reps that gets everything early and then sends it to me!:D

We got the coloring kit in October. Caleb loved using it first, now his big sis has taken it over.

Sorry, my brain is on overload...how does copilot differ from Cozmanager? We got the new Cozmo pump in February, and they gave us Cozmanager software with it...but my endo (who is more of a MMed fan) says the data is pretty worthless to her because it's not in graph/chart form, and I have to agree. It prints out pages and pages of text, but nothing that is comprehensive in a small, readable package. When I went to the link you provided ("here is some info", below), they show CoPilot software for download. Is this different than what you all are discussing?
Thanks!
Lori

It's two different products. The co-pilot (made by abbott) is a standalone graphing charting program. You can currently download a freestyle flash to it (not sure of other meters). What it is designed to do is also take the Cozmo info from the cozmanager and add that as well, so tha tyou have a comprehensive set of data. BUT you need new cozmo software from cozmo to enable it. The way it works is this:
1)you download you pump to the cozmanager (cozmo's pump program)
2)You then take that file and import it into the co-pilot
right now, the format that the cozmanager is saving the data in is incompatible with the copilot so cozmo had to release new software.
you will still need the cozmanager to program your pump and to download your initial pump into but then the co-pilot will do all the charting and graphing.
HOpe that helps.

OK, I think I understand now...so THAT is why you are contacting your Smith rep...to get the brand new Cozmanager software, so that it the data can be transferred to the CoPilot program and put in a useful format...do I have that right? I'm going to locate my rep and see if I can get that software, too...we have an endo appointment in about 1.5 weeks!
Thanks,
Lori

Loving it!! I got this in the mail and had it up and running in five minutes flat. Yahoo!!! I'm swimming in charts and graphs now. Lol.. just take your pick! I put the disc in, it auto-installed, and then I opened Co-Pilot. I chose something about downloading from a meter and Cozmonitor was now a choice. It all just flew by from there. I never even had to open Cozmanager... but it IS still installed on my system. No idea if it's necessary. About time Smiths!!
