her 30 day meter average is 155.. we've been dealing with a lot of lows.. but I'm not sure what to change... she's gone from using 14/15u a day to 11/12.. I think I may change her 4-8pm basal, so it effects the 6-10pm hours because of all the lows.. also I was talking to her CDE today and she said that using extended boluses for ALL meals, no matter what they are, may help with the spiking.. I also need to get pre-bolusing better.. but Kaylee is never predictable enough to do that.. every time I pre-bolus she doesn't want it..

what would you do with this chart? the way up off the chart numbers are turkey day and santa's village day..

Celebrate! :) It looks pretty tight (excluding the holiday days) with clear patterns. I'd just tweak the afternoon/evening basal as you suggest and hit that spike at 11 am. What happens at 10 am? Does she have a snack then or is that lingering over from breakfast?

Wow Kim :D that chart looks awsome! I wish our charts looked like that :o I agree, change the 4-8 pm basal, if that leaves her too high then I would chage her I:C ratio at dinner but it appears to be the basal to my tired eyes.

it looks good to me too! great job.. looking at the 10am climb I'm guessing breakfast?? if so, how do you get your kids to sleep in? we are up here at 6am and usually eating at 6:30am - ugh!

I know it's sensor readings - but what kind of lows are you having - from what I see on the graph - sensor isn't picking up any major lows?

the only suggestions I can give - is to preblous 20 minutes to half hour before breakfast or until you get a down arrow before eating - that can really help with that peak. and the same for the afternoon high's, snack or supper?

overall - looks awesome!

10am is breakfast.. my kids are up by 8am.. school by 8:30am.. but Kaylee isn't in school yet...and she eats typically when I bring Jaylin to school.. so about 9am.. which would put the spike right at about 10am.. I've tried to pre-bolus but the little stinker has always decided she doesnt' want that after I've bolused..I think I'll start pre-bolusing 10 carbs at least and then I'm going to square wave everything to see if we can head off the spikes.. right now she went from above 400 (we had wendy's for dinner.. having low issues again so cut her basal down to 25%.. it turned out ugly... but she dropped from above 400 to 280 in 20minutes:eek: )

the spikes that you are seeing in the afternoon are thanksgiving day and the day after we were at Santa's villlage, an amusement park. She's not having any more severe lows (although last night would have been very very bad if it weren't for the minilink..) The minilink is alarming at 90 on the sensor, and she's typically in the 60s when I check her.. we've had none in the 50s that I can think of for the past week..

I sent her chart off to her CDE so she can check it out along with her endo.. she was busy today with a saline start.. so not sure when she'll get the chance to veiw it..

thanks for all your pointers.. I'd be lost without you:)
