ok.. I disconnected the minilink, recharged it.. started a 'new' sensor its been on the start for over a 1/2hr.. the little sensor symbol at the top is regular, no circle around it.. so whats going on? just taking longer? or did I mess it up? if I moved the sensor it would tell me, correct?

ugh, not a good time for this to happen.. I have to get to work! :eek:

Kim - no you did it right but it will take the full 2 hr warm up once you disconnect - maybe a bit shorter, but not much!

One Day 3 when you just hit new sensor but do not disconnect - it usually will ask for a BG within 10 15 minutes.. Day 6 and the recharge will take the 2 hrs..

When you do a disconnect and restart it tricks the transmitter into thinking it is a brand new sensor ... so you are on a 2 hour warm up, just as you were on Day 1.

When you do the Start New Sensor WITHOUT the disconnect (like you you did on Thanksgiving) it only takes a 5-10 minutes before the Meter BG message.

I'm impressed that you can get the transmitter off without pulling out the sensor! T is so wiggley that the sensor usually comes right out. On the rare occasion that we can disconnet the two, the "start" does take the full 2hours.
