since starting the sensor we've had a weird few days.. Kaylee just not eating as much.. and some lows.. that I don't know if we had before and are just picking up.. or if its just because she seems to be out of wack.. she seems to be eating OK.. but not necessarily a lot of carbs.. here is her chart from tuesday midnight until today at a little past 2pm.. the sensor is pretty much dead on.. and we've caught A LOT of lows.. her endo and cde suggested changing some basals (afternoon ones..) BUT I know the start of the dip yesterday, around 1:30/2pm she was eating lunch, pizza, and I pre-bolused trying to avoid a super spike and the she didn't want the pizza.. she finally ate most of it, but it took almost an hour.. I did do a square wave but that didn't keep her from going low.. so I'm not sure if I should do some changes or if I should see what tomorrow brings.. BUT tomorrow is turkey day.. I'msure she'll eat ALL DAY LONG..

ugh, we just had another low alarm.. she's 65 with .2 active.. she DID eat lunch, and had a minibag of M&M's for a treat (we went to my work for a buffet lunch and my boss gave them to her because she was so good..)

I would wait a few days just to make sure it wasn't a fluke. I know I just made a bunch of changes yesterday and today we seem a little low but I am going to give it a few days.

I would wait 1 or 2 more days just to make sure.

I'm for waiting another day, too. I know how crazy it can get with alarms going off all the time, but if you're on the pump, you can always do a temp basal for a period.

Just as an example of why it is good to wait, and even then, maybe try a set change first...

We were on a new sensor (arm for the first time) and I was ready to tweak things. We had a few days of bad blood sugar so I got out Pumping Insulin and I was ready to rework everything. What I ended up doing was upping basals by 10% across the board. And it worked pretty well. The next day I did a site change. Boy was I glad that I put the new rates on a different profile. He was okay during the day (fed a few lows) but boy come bedtime and he was plumiting. So I switched back to our original profile and things have been great again. He obviously wasn't absorbing well on the old site! Just a brief reminder to myself to try a site change first.
