Actress Elizabeth Perkins and Type 1

While getting my allergy shots at lunch time today, I was browsing the November SELF magazine. There's an article in there that Elizabeth Perkins was diagnosed fairly recently with Type 1 diabetes. She went undiagnosed for a bit - the article was about her mystery illness. Not sure if this was posted here. I could not find her article online.

Also, there is a a big article in there on diabulimia. I haven't read it. I found it online also. Just thought I'd share.

I've always liked Elizabeth Perkins. How sad that she has to go through this. But, I'd LOVE to see her as a positive role model for T1 Diabetes

She was also in the HBO Mini Series "From the Earth to the Moon". I love that Miniseries and she was in episode 11 which was about the Astronauts Wives. She played Marilyn Lovell.
