and I remember her telling me what is was yesterday, but I can't remember what exactly the ISIG is LOL.. :cwds:

An isig changes as your blood sugar changes. So there isn't one good number. There are bad numbers though. I would say under 6, not good. :)

what does the ISIG tell you? if the sensor is reading right? right now its 34.3.. thats good?

Yes, that is good. What happens is that the isig is a value that relates to the fluid it is reading. You calibrate the machine to tell it what you blood sugar value is related to X (x being your isig). So as your blood sugar goes up and down, so does your isig.

When you have a low isig (like really low) it tends to mean it is dying. What really stinks is when you have a good isig that jumps around in no correlation to your blood sugar! That is what we have been dealing with lately starting around day 4. Also, another thing that stinks is when your sensor and your pump set die on the same night! You think you have good numbers when in reality they are REALLY high.
