Highest bg you've had with type 2

As a Type 2 diabetic, what was your highest blood glucose reading ever.

My T2 uncle (according to my aunt) has had bgs in the 800's when sick. He was dx'd with T2 in his 40's and is now 76. He started with oral meds and then became insulin dependant. He has also had some real scary lows with 911 called.

I had a teacher who's type 2 tell me she hit 1700 when she was doing chemotherapy and steroid therapy for cancer.

I hit 210 after eating - that is not sounding very high anymore, after reading the other posts.

I hit 379 last night 3 hours after eating. Really scared me, was afraid to go to sleep.

I was 288 3 hrs. after eating last evening. I didn't exactly make wise choices at dinner. I ate at Cracker Barrell.

Maybe not for everyone, but I poured a glass of semi-dry wine and sipped it. One hour later, I was 212. After a 2nd glass and another hour, I was at 171.

my highest number was when i was dx'd, i hit 33.5(603)since then i've only had one high number of 21.3(384), as for lows only one bad low of 2.1(38) thank god my little one was around, she was the gave me some glucose tabs and a juice
