Pump Pack Pattern

Hi everyone,

My name is Rania and this would be my very first post to this forum :)

My DD is 6 and was DX with diabetes at age 4. We have been doing MDI with lantus and Novalog for the past year. We are fixing to start pumping :) We got the Cozmo pump last week. We go on the 21st to get everything programmed, and we are trained. Right now we are waiting on getting our infusion sets. Our dr likes the Rabid D's. Im not real sure how i am going to feel about them. But my DD has very little fat. From what i understand these are good on kids with little fat.

Anyhow i was wondering if anyone has a pattern for a pack for this pump. I have seen several websites that sell these packs but i would love to make one for my DD.

I made up one of my own, so I don't really have a pattern - it was trial and error.

I just fold material into 3 sections, so it is a pocket with a flap. I put velcro at the top of the pocket and also at the bottom of the flap to keep it secure.

Then I sew a long belt , in two parts.

I attach one end to each part of the pocket and then I sew an o-ring thingy at the other end of one of the long pieces.
