So last night, Mia came stumbling into our bedroom at 2am, covered with vomit :( eek:. In two back-to-back consecutive episodes, she had thrown up all over herself, her bed and most of the floor in her room in her attempt to come and wake us up... Instead of crying, panicking or complaining, she says in a calmly voice: "Mommy, I threw up and feel icky. You better check my blood sugar...and don't forget the ketones!" Aww, you have got to love her!!
(Thanks to Zofran, we were able to stop the vomiting and keep the ketones to a minimum. Let's hope this is a 24-hour bug that goes as quickly as it came. I am off to do laundry!)
