I would love if someone would talk to me because I need some support and friends. I have not even been diabetic for more than 2 weeks and I am already tired of it. Please someone be my friend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are all hear for you whenever you feel like blogging. I noticed that your name refers to skating. Do you skate? Where are you from? I have no doubt that all of the children diagnosed with Type 1 feel like you do. My daughter (12 and a half) gets really tired of her disease at times. We all want you to stay healthy. We care about you. Feel free to write on this website. That what we all are here for.

Yes, I Ice skate. It makes me very happy. I also love to read, it makes me get in my own little world. It's how I get my mind off things when I'm unhappy. So I'm 11 years old. Who has diabetes in your family?

My daughter (age 12) has diabetes. She lost her dad to cancer two months after she was diagnosed. She performs in local theater (she likes the musicals). She has really red hear and lots of freckles. She was a competitive Irish Dancer for a number of years. Now she is learning the ballroom dances and loves it. Eddie Murphy finished filming in our city of Denver and he used local ice skaters in his film. I bet that you would have been good at it! Do you compete? Do you wear a pump or give yourself shots?

If you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask- we're here to help each other. Its important to remember that you can do anything that any other kid can do!

omg! i was diagnosed 3 monthes ago, and i am still trying to deal with it. =[ have you gone to any camps? i went to one a month after being diagnosed, and it helped me so much. i have this whole little support group of people i can complain about diabetes too! that sucks you couldnt go trick or treating. my mom was afraid id like eat to much candy, so she wouldnt let me go to any partys. =[
