Samantha will do great after the dr gives an adjustment for about 3 weeks then she starts having lows again. The pass 3 days we have had a few 62's and 69's during the day and nights even last weekend she was 69 and that was without giving shots the whole day other then her lantus. Right now the dr has her on 2 units of lantus and her carbs are 35 to 1 unit. Before they would lower the lantus ( we started out at 10) so will they just increase her carbs since her lantus is so low already????

Samantha is certainly honeymooning - enjoy it while it lasts! As to increasing carbs (ie. eating more), that should depend on whether she feels "hungry". Is she getting to eat as many foods with carbs as she would like? If so, then you'd more likely reduce the insulin. If she's always "hungry" for carbs, then yes I'd increase what she's getting to eat.

If she's going low before a meal that would be her Lantus that needs adjusting. If she's going low after a meal that would be her carb ratio that needs adjusting.
It sounds like the typical honeymoon. And quite frankly D in general. We can go 3 weeks or less and still need adjustments and were out of the honeymoon.
