Meters and D supplies on sale at Rite-Aid

I was in Rite-Aid picking up shampoo, etc when I went by the pharmacy counter and most of their D care is on sale. I saw the Freestyle Lite meter was $29.99 with a $29.99 rebate. All the Ultra meters were on sale too but no rebate. All the lancets were on sale for $9.99 including the Accu-check Multiclix drums. They had some new glucose tab flavors that I hadn't seen and new Glucose gels and spray.

On my way out I stopped by the candy aisle and found the infamous Sweet Tart gel so i picked one of those up too. :)

I asked at the counter and she said prices were good till Nov. 3rd at our store.

Hope that helps. It came at a good time for us we were running low on lancets.

Word to the wise. Watch out for the glucose spray. There isn't enough carbs in the whole bottle to treat a low.

I didn't pick any glucose up except the Sweet-Tart Gel.

The tabs seem way too big for him yet, When I saw the candy gel I put back the glucose gel. Thanks for the heads up on the spray it looked interesting but I couldn't figure out the carb info. Here is a link (http://www.glucoserapidspray.com/GRS_Factsheet.pdf) to what they had.

Thanks for the reminder! I saw the ad in last Sunday's paper -- but that was last Sunday - LOL! I swear, if I don't write everything down I can't remember ANYTHING anymore!!! :rolleyes:

We have the Freestyle lite...My favorite thing is that you can scroll up and down. Also it gives 7, 14 and 30 day averages. Good, but it can be confusing too. Seth has accidently told me his average instead of his correct bg a couple of times

We have the same sale going on by us :D One Touch Ultra Smart was 29.99 I almost bought one....

I am going to go up there and see if I can find the Sweet Tart Gel... Can't find it at any stores around us.
