I have positive celiac anitibodies

Hi everyone. I posted this in the celiac section, but I have no clue how widely viewed it is down there. Sooooo I thought I would put it here too:

Hi everyone. I am usually in the parents w/ Type 1 room (since that is what I am) but I have been having some GI issues, and knowing as much as I do about CD and D, I asked my Dr to run the panel. I came back w/ a level of 14 for anitgliadin IGG, which I am told is a positive antibody. I am pretty sure everything else was neg. Also, they couldn't find my CBC so not sure if I'm anemic. I will know that tomorrow. Any thoughts or comments or expert opinions? I am assuming my next step will be a visit to a GI dr, since my primary has NO idea what to do next, and will probably have an endoscopy.

Hi,

I don't have direct experience with celiac, just wanted to commiserate really. My cousin and her daughter both have it and are both thriving, but I guess it takes some work to figure out the diet.

Good luck with the next steps, and hope your GI tract is a whole lot happier once things are sorted out.
