When do you change the time on your pump?

*scratches head* I don't know yet lol! We usually don't change our clocks until the morning, so maybe then?

This time change will be the first, but makes sense to me to change in the morning. The most time between checks for us is after the 2am or 3am check, and would prefer to be fully awake when changing things in the programming. Some things in the house have already changed on their own . . . They're still living in the land of pre-Bush. Keeps things interesting to not trust the clocks in the house.

We don't have any different basal rates that it will make any difference. We'll change it first thing Sunday morning.

We do have different basal rates and one set to make sure she doesn't go low between 4am and 7am, so I think I'll wait until we get up and then change it.

This will be our first time change on the pump~ My first thought was to go with in the morning when you eat breakfast.

eek, I don't remember what we did last time. that would have been smart to remember. I almost think we did it around 9 or 10pm - the time when he is usually a bit high anyway. But now I can't remember. I voted though for morning because that makes sense.

Knowing us, it will be whenever we actually remember to do it!

I'll change it when she gets up and has breakfast. I did the same thing when we traveled to Wisconsin this Fall and bumped back a time zone. We didn't notice any differences in her because of the extra basal

In reading all of the responses, it seems like the extra basal that will be delivered because of the extra hour is probably not a big deal -- right?

Although, it would probably be better to change it on Sunday morning.

What do you think about the extra basal? I know YDMV but, in general, what do you think?

We just do any fixing that morning. Generally, by the end of the day the numbers have worked themselves out.

Hmm, I'm not sure what we did before.. Kaylee has very specific basals at night to help from going low.. if I change her pump.. that will mess with it.. she'll be getting to little basal to soon.. I do not remember what we did in the spring or last fall.. how horrible is that.. also last fall.. she was on all one basal.. and in the spring it was probably two or 3 different once.. we didn't get real specific with her basal until the end of this spring beginning of summer.. hmm.. I don't know when to change it.. should have called her CDE today I guess....
