As a parent of 2 college students I just wanted to ask for prayers for the families of those students that died in the fire at Ocean Isle Beach, NC on Sunday. ( 14 students in house/ 7 died ) My Brother-in-law's nephew was one of the survivors ( he jumped out a window) but his girfriend wouldn't/ couldn't and she perished. This is so tragic and I think how easily this could have been my son or daughter, away for the weekend with their sorority or fraternity. The grief these parents must feel is unimaginable. A tragic reminder how precious and fragile Life is.....
I hadn't even heard about that. I am very sorry to hear the news. We vacation every summer right near Ocean Isle at Sunset Beach. I went to school in VA, and both my husband and brother-in-law went to colleges in NC, so we have been to many a fraternity event at the beaches there. My heart and prayers go out to the families involved.

Oh Linda I'm so sorry. I hadn't heard either. I haven't read or heard any news lately. I'll read up on it now. Prayers for the families and friends of these students. How very tragic!!!!!!!
