when is it consider too late for the flu shots. last year my daughter had her first flu shot in oct. but this year her doctors office told me that they dont have the flu shots. i dont understand i thought they had plenty. anyways she said i could not get an appointment until Nov. 3. and i sure hope they have the flu shots. i will not bring her in there for nothing. i hate going in there. it takes along time to get called in. and you are surrounded by people who are sick. i am afraid that my child will get sick from that place. she used to have a great doctor. but since her diagnosis. we had to get insurance for her. and they only cover the sucky doctors. i wish i can take her to the doctor of my choice.

I questioned Kaylee and jaylin's dr. because there are plenty of clinics giving out the flu shots but their pedi office doesn't ahve them yet.. and she said its actually better to get them later because the flu season is actually in jan/feb/march.. so people that are getting them in oct. the shot could wear out by the time heavy flu season rolls around.. the girls got their first ever flu shots last Dec.

the girls will probably get theirs in Nov. sometime:)

if she has already had a flu shot in years past, then take her to walgreens or some public place offering them. My OB said I could wait to come into their office or get it anywhere. Its all the same vax, the only difference is that when kids get it for the first time, they split the dose into 2 given a month apart.
