Maddison has HIGHS HIGHS HIGHS at night with a growth spurt. Do you ever see lows with a growth spurt?

I think her lows lately are from change in weather = more outside activity, getting sick, or simply just needing a basal change AGAIN. The nurse called to tell me Maddison has been under 70 most of the day back and forth. I told her my thoughts on this, and what I did this weekend, (basals) to fix the problem. She told me she must be growing, I told her that is not typically what we see with a growth spurt  I hate when she mentions what she thinks the problem is:mad:

We get highs right before growth, but then when it is sprouting time...low, low, low...

As for the school nurse, ours does that also...some days I want to tell her where to go and others I am just thankful that she tries to be involved and knowledgeable...most days it is the first one though!

That must be what is going on with Caitie!!!!

We are getting lows very often now. And she is EATING!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Even when she is out of range (HIGH), we will correct her with Novolog w/meals and her BS will drop so fast (even before her normal 2 hour peak)!!!!

Kat is one of those that run lows with growth. I never knew any that ran high til I came here. :) Just have to feed the bottomless pit.
