They did a pretty good job with this but I wish they had explained clearly what Type 1 is. At least they included some good information.

My mom was told this, she was dx'ed in the late 1950's when she was 10. Well, they told her 40. She had me when she was 20 because of this, she wanted to see me grow to be an adult. She is now 58 by the way! :p She lost her sight about 20 yrs ago, but still has all her extremities, both kidneys and despite a few cardiac stents, caths and an open heart surgery to repair weak vessels, is doing GREAT.
