Check this out...and the kids that are in Holland have a very high level of these environmental toxins around....and aren't the people in Holland one of the highest ratios for Type 1? This article really makes me wonder if our children are exhibiting something environmental...

Actually the article references a family whose last name is Holland. They live in the US. I also believe that it is Finland and Sweden that have the highest rates of Type 1 D.

Thanks, sorry my bad...contacts are blurry... but still it is scary at how much toxins are in these kids and what this might be causing to their systems in the long run. :o

I hear ya. It scares me to think what I might discover if I had Sam's blood tested.

When I was pregnant with Tony, and up until he was 15 months old, we lived right next to a navy airfield. Lower enlisted families got to live there, while officers lived far away-nice huh? I used to see smoke in the sky all the time from jets (dh was in the navy) and think that's not so good! Kinda makes me wonder if that was one of the factors. But dwelling on it isn't going to do anything!
