View Full Version : Help with Follow up letter
We have our JDRF walk this weekend and I want to send a follow up email to people that have yet to donate. Can you all help with the wording? Thanks!
I want to say something the extent that this is the last week to donate before I walk.... (I know they can donate after, but I just want people to donate already!)

Our walk was yesterday, so last week I just sent out another email saying "The diabetes walk is this weekend. If you wish to donate or sign up to walk there's still time. See the link below" and below was my original email with the link to click on to register or donate. Good luck

You could say something along the lines of:
"Thanks so much to everyone who has already donated. I can't begin to express what it means to me that you are willing to support something that is so important to us. We will be thinking of each of you during our walk next week. I also know that many others of you have expressed an interest in donating. We will be taking a final tally at the walk on Saturday and we'd love to include your donation in that tally. Its as easy as going to my web site at http://....."
How does that sound.
these are great! THanks. I am just having a brain spasm this morning and can't think. (late night with ROss last night and coughing) :(

Which walk are you doing? We are doing the Cooper River walk on Sunday. I sent out an email to those that had not donated and put Team Update in the subject matter.
I basically said I wanted to let them know that Aidan's Army has already raised $x and had x walkers. Also, I said that Aidan filmed a commercial for 6 ABC about the walk. And "by the way" there is still time to register to walk or donate.
It worked, and we got quite a few responses from it.

We are doing the walk in New Brunswick at Rutger Cook College. Hope it's a nice day! Good luck at your walk!

Hi Sari, Where can I find the details of this walk. It's so close to me and I feel so guilty for not knowing about it sooner. Thanks
