How long was the honeymoon?

Another honeymoon question here made me think of this. I've had diabetes for 2 years and often feel like I'm still honeymooning. I have a friend who swears she honeymooned for close to 5 years. How long was it till you felt like the honeymoon was over?

seems to have lasted about 12-13 months here..

once we were diagnosed, we never had a honeymoon. However, I believe that we had a long onset which was sort of our honeymoon process. It seemed to have started approx. a year prior to diagnosis that their were problems and things were changing.

We are running about 14 months and still going. I find his insulin needs S-L-O-W-L-Y going up.
