I read this in the "feeling hot" thread, and I've never heard of it before now!

Stuart often complains of leg cramps.

What do you all do to combat this? I didn't know Insulin would cause this to happen.

Jessi is a "hot" child.. She can be in bed with nothing on in front of a fan and she will be sweating. She also complains that her legs hurt, I just chocked that up to her being a "princess' and not wanting to walk.

I have brought them both up breifly at the endo appts, but they never say anything. Maybe I will mention getting her potassium checked next time, since they have to draw blood next trip anyways.

Just to throw something else out there. If our kids had potassium deficiencies, it should show up on the annual bloodwork.....The electrolytes are nomally part of the annual blood tests(metabolic profile)....at least at our endo's office. It may just be the regular leg cramps or "growing pains" that all kids get.
If it is very frequently happening and the cramps are severe, it may be worth checking out.
