Hi
For my current design project I am aiming to design a gadget (or set of gadgets) for children with (Type 1) diabetes.
I was thinking along the lines of a non-invasive glucose-monitoring watch type thing, which would work as an alarm/reminder for insulin and possibly also send data home to a parent during the child's school day. After looking around the forums, I realise this idea may not be entirely accurate/feasible etc.
I have been trying to get as well informed as possible, but there are masses of information and sites out there, and I wanted to get a more personal view.
I would really appreciate any input you may have, about problems or difficulties you have with your existing equipment, features you would like to see, which technologies you prefer and why, etc.
Thanks in advance.
