I have been on the minimed CGM since May and it has been great. Today I noticed that it only reads even numbers. Does anyone know why it does this? I thought it was kinda strange, but there is probably some reasoning behind it and I never really noticed.

That is really strange, I would definetly contact a rep.

this is the way mm cgms is.
i'd read somewhere else about this fact too.
My daughter noticed the same thing. I have never asked why.

This is interesting because I called the help line today and the guy on the phone said that it reads all numbers (even and odd) and he continued to try and tell me that for the last 2 days (288 tests per day) my blood sugars have just been reading even numbers. I tried to tell him that this was not the fact, but he would not hear it.
I am glad to know that it is not just me and this is what other people experience also.

mine doesn't too... but maybe it is different for mmol/l and dg/dl.

mmol/L shows odd numbers, because a 1/10 change in mmol/L is a pretty substantial change in bG. But when you set the MM R/T to show using the really tiny USA units (mg/dL), it shows only even numbers. At least, it showed only even numbers back when I tried it (a long time ago).
I also noticed when John Walsh posted his one month "Trial" data, almost a year ago, that although he took pains not to identify which machine was which in the text, people such as I instantly knew-- because all of the data for one of the machines was even numbers (so that one was Minimed), and the other machine had both even and odd numbers (that one was Dexcom).
So I announced here, and on a couple of other boards, which was which. But it's possible that this has changed more recently, that was almost an entire year ago. I don't know if MM has changed their software, I haven't heard of any change.
