Okay, I've been inspired by a couple of previous posts.

What are the funniest places you've found test strips?

What are the most unusual or unexpected places that you've found test strips?

- We found a test strip floating in our cats' water bowl. . . and in the kitty litter box.
- I noticed one once hanging from the tail of our long-haired cat.
- I found one attached to Derek's face when I went in to check him one night.
- We found one under a table in a restraunt the first weekend we were home after being diagnosed, and the test strip wasn't ours.
- Derek found one in the middle of a deck of cards during a card game once.

Maybe the question would be better if asked . . . where haven't you found test strips??? ;)

Lol.. we've got the massive 90lb baddog Lab. He's eaten plenty of strips. They all come out in the end.

He's true to the breed, feels no pain, cold and noise no problem, will eat anything and everything. Ever read "Marly and Me?" -- coulda been our dog.

Strips everywhere. Tub, counter, bed, in the cars, found some in the toolbox, in the floor of the jeep, etc.. It happens.

Found one stuck to the cat.

Floor is the most often recepient of the spurious strip syndrome. Vacuum em up all the time.

I found one in my hair one morning, (Nolan had woken up and had a bad dream, told him to test, and of course, he tossed it "wherever" )
I got up, put my hair in a ponytail, and took the kids to school, went to school myself, and when I turned my head real fast, Out flew a test strip.
Nice. :o

I think we could start a whole new thread of what our pets eat..other than pet food ... My vacuum doesn't like to eat strips...it keeps spewing them out...very annoying! Ciana, my little one, is my official "strip-finder"...she really does find them everywhere...one was stuck to my Golden retriever's fluffy tail the other day...go figure.

I find the car floor is the worst place. Den is always throwing his tester on the floor. I have always been annoyed with finding his test strips and the fact he never empties out his case. Then my son was diagnosed and I do the same thing:o
I am glad to know that we all find them all over !

Is anyone crafty? I'm sure if we could figure out something to make out of them and then laminate or shalack them (preventing them from being biohazardous) we could make a million. Jewelry,bookmarks... anybody?

There was on right outside the door, dead center at the foot of the steps this morning. How appropriate when approching our house.

This thread makes me feel better.

I have found them at work on the ground. I guess they stick to the bottom of my shoe.

Ever try getting one out of the corner of the carpet? You practially need tweezers.

When we were moving this spring, 3rd load of bexes over, was not living here yet, and found a test strip on the side walk. Must have been on the bottom of a box on a trip before it. It helped Julia make her mark before ever being here :D Those little strips always do.

That reminds me, if we ever gets lost in the woods, we could probably follow a trail of test strips out!

There's a new take on Hansel and Gretel for you.
