Cavilon skin barrier...helps with itching on pump site?

Bethany has developed an allergy to the adhesive tape on the omnipod. She usually starts scratching after she has had it on for about a day (her back being the most sensitive). I was recommend cavilon no sting barrier wipes by an ostomy nurse. Has anyone used this product?

I have used cavilon skin barrier (available in wipe and spray). It works very well. Be sure to let it dry before application of tape. It seems to help tape stick better too.

Have you tried the IV 3000 as the barrier before the Omnipod? I have been using the IV 3000 (clear adhesive tape like barrier) first on the skin (make sure the skin is dry) then I "poke" the quickset right into the barrier. The thing sticks on like crazy. Now my son is not alergic or anything but just to help keep moisture out and to make the quickset stick really well. It has been a huge improvement.
