Former "Top Chef" raising money for JDRF

My name is Jennifer. My son, Jenson, 2 yrs old, was dx'd with type 1 at 14 months.

I was going through some if the information on the JDRF website. I'm
a huge fan of Bravo's "Top Chef." I knew that a contestant from last
season was diabetic. I found the following information:

Season two's third place finisher of Top Chef on Bravo was diagnosed
with diabetes as a child. He is in the "sexiest chef" contest by
Glad. If he gets the most votes by October 17th, Glad will donate
$25,000 to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Please go to the below link and cast your vote. You can vote and
then click his picture again on the top of the screen and vote
again. Vote as many times as you can. There is no limit. Please forward this to as many people as you can. I think it's the least we can do.

It kills me every day to know my little guy is suffering. This isn't
much, but it's better than nothing.

I have looked to see if you can see who's in the lead, but no luck. I guess we have to wait until the end. I'm pretty sure the contest goes through October 17th.

I LOVE Top Chef! I've just started watching it half way through season 3. Wednesday is my favorite day because a new episode will be on. Yesterday my son and I watched reruns of the end of season 2. I wish I had known yesterday Sam was type 1! Yes I voted!!!

I only started watching this season as well, but I've watched almost all re-runs from last season. Sam is absolutely my favorite.

I also look forward to Wednesdays. Yesterday we watched some of season 2, also.

I'm a Top Chef junkie too... (sheesh, I shouldn't admit this stuff...)

But I don't think he's cute at all.... Steamy? Tha'd be Padma. Padma makes watching the show wonderfully pleasant.

(Humor aside, I very much support his support of JDRF)

There are two shows on that I record on the DVR, and just by chance, they both involve diabetes. In addition to Top Chef, my other favorite is "Bret Michaels Rock of Love" on VH1.

I have to say that I wish he would do more with his celebrity and his juvenile diabetes and bring information and fundraising to this cause.
