bacon?

does bacon have gluten in it? we have butterball turkey bacon and it lists "smoke flavoring" as an ingredient which i see can sometime contain gluten. this is our first week GF and the butterball website has no gluten info.

I don't know, but ask the people on www.glutenfreeforum.com They know EVERYTHING that has gluten in it from foods to makeup to laundry detergents ;)

You're welcome. That's a great forum, but you kind of have to take what they say with a grain of salt. Some GF people are absolutely FANATIC about cross contamintion -- they will not even walk down the flour aisle at the supermarket because they're afraid they will breathe it in. And some people are really that sensitive to gluten. But it really is a very informative site, and very good people!!
