Adin's tdd is about 7 units. I was reading that the Omnipod will not deliver a smaller unit then .05/hour. It will let you suspend the basal but not program a suspended basal or a basal of 0.0.

Do other pumps allow a 0 basal to be programed? I don't know if we will need a programed 0 but am now curious if it is something anybody uses.

Animas allows a 0 basal.

I can't speak for any of the others.

We can and have had basal rates set for 0.0 for a period of two hours. At night when she's low, we can and do suspend the basal (temp basal) for an hour at 0%.

We have MM

Yep - the Cozmo will let you have a 0.0 basal rate, or you can program a temp basal reduction of 0 :cwds:

We have mm and sometimes when Davis is border line low at night I'll just do a temp basal of 0...or you can program one if you needed too..

Animas lets you program a basal od 0.0, and it also has basal rates that you can change by .025u

I have also heard that some people with MM and Cozmo pumps have basals alternating at 0.0 and 0.05 per hour to achieve the 0.025 basal that you can get with the Animas pump. I think thats how it works..
